About the Marriage Bureau

The Dawoodi Bohra Marriage Bureau is a free independently-managed service and strives to assist individuals seeking partners who share similar values rooted in faith, reform, and cultural understanding. The Marriage Bureau is run voluntarily by Nasreen Rajabali from the UK. 

Marriage is a sacred and highly encouraged institution in Islam. It creates a partnership where two individuals support and strengthen one another—emotionally, spiritually, and practically. Within this bond, couples share their wisdom, experiences, and aspirations, building a life anchored in mutual care and trust.

Marriage forms the foundation of family life. It nurtures stability, safeguards values, and upholds the dignity of both partners, while also enriching the broader community. In our Dawoodi Bohra tradition, marriage is not only a personal journey—it is also a way to honour and sustain our cherished customs, faith, and collective identity.

Through this introduction service, our hope is to facilitate meaningful connections rooted in love, compassion, and shared purpose—relationships that contribute to a peaceful home and a resilient community.

How It Works

Our matrimonial introduction service is grounded in dignity, discretion, and community values.

Step 1: Share Your Profile

Begin by thoughtfully completing the biodata form. This allows us to understand your background, preferences, and values.

Step 2: Send a Recent Photo

Please include a clear, front-facing, recent photo of yourself (no sunglasses). A respectful presentation helps create sincere introductions.

Step 3: Candidate-Led Process

This service is designed for individuals seeking introductions. Applications must be submitted by the candidates themselves. Once your application is received, the Bureau will reach out to you to discuss next steps. 

Confidentiality

As part of the process, you may receive other participants’ biodata profiles for consideration. We trust that all users will honour the privacy and confidentiality of the information shared.
Any breach of this trust—such as sharing someone’s details without consent—will result in immediate removal from the service.
